Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and organised Trainer to join our team. This role is central to ensuring our staff are fully trained, confident, and compliant, while also supporting new team members through their onboarding journey.

You will play a key role across three core areas:

• Training delivery and coordination

• Compliance management

• New starter onboarding

Key Responsibilities

Training

• Schedule, coordinate, and deliver induction and mandatory training sessions

• Deliver annual refresher training and ensure all staff remain up to date

• Maintain and update all training materials

• Provide one-to-one and in-home training where required

• Ensure training equipment is maintained and serviced

• Manage diploma processes, paperwork, and learner progress

• Liaise with external training providers and monitor quality of support

• Identify additional training needs through feedback and analysis

• Maintain accurate reporting and update Skills for Care annually

Compliance

• Ensure all staff training records are accurate and fully compliant

• Maintain records for Online learning

• Add new recruits to systems and track training completion

• Monitor refresher training (online and face-to-face)

• Update certificates and maintain organised, accessible records

• Continuously improve record-keeping processes using new technologies

Onboarding

• Manage the induction process for new starters

• Deliver follow-up induction training

• Support CareGivers in completing the Care Certificate

• Ensure all onboarding materials are current and effective

Additional Duties

• Provide support to the recruitment team as required

• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to meet team goals

• Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support the organisation
