Deputy Care Manager (Home Care) – Farnham
Farnham, Surrey
Up to £29,000 per year (DOE)
Full-time – 37 hours per week
Permanent | Immediate start available
We are recruiting a Deputy Care Manager to support the delivery of high-quality domiciliary care (home care) services to elderly and vulnerable adults in Farnham, Fleet and Farnborough
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, well-established care provider with clear progression to Registered Manager.
Key Responsibilities – Deputy Care Manager
Support the Registered Care Manager in the daily running of the domiciliary care service
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and work towards Good/Outstanding ratings
Supervise, support, and develop a team of Care Assistants / Care Workers
Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals, and performance reviews
Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and reviews
Monitor and report on KPIs and service performance
Maintain accurate care records and documentation
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of care staff
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
Participate in the on-call rota
Provide hands-on care support when required
Requirements – Deputy Care Manager
Essential:
Experience in domiciliary care / home care
Previous role as Senior Carer, Care Supervisor, Care Coordinator, or Deputy Manager
Strong knowledge of CQC standards and compliance
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Good IT skills (Google Drive / care systems)
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Level 3 or Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
