Ciara started her career working in a care home before taking time off to raise her two boys. Five years ago, she returned to the HomeCare sector with Right at Home Camberley & Woking, beginning as a carer. After a year, she progressed to Supervisor, completing her NVQ Level 3 along the way and being named Apprentice of the Year 2023.

Since then, Ciara has taken on new responsibilities, including helping with compliance audits and supporting new carers as a Probation Supervisor. She enjoys meeting carers and clients, helping carers build their confidence and skills, and making sure clients get the best possible care.

Ciara’s journey shows how much impact a dedicated carer can have - not just on clients, but on the team around them. She’s proof that with support and opportunity, carers can grow their skills and make a real difference every day.
